Every Youth Deserves a Golf Mentor

On-Course rounds shared by golf mentors and junior golfers:

  • Help kids learn life skills, develop on-course etiquette, be creative, and become passionate players.
  • Provide an easy, fun way for adult golfers to give back to the game and join a growing community of champions that drive inclusion and positivity in the sport.

First Tee – South Puget Sound has partnered with Tom Watsons nonprofit, Watson Links, to help create mentoring opportunities within our community. Together, we’ll make rounds more accessible, affordable, and connect generations of players to drive learning and fun!

What is Mentor Month?

Throughout the month of September, we will host free 9-hole rounds that pair two junior golfers with two adult mentors. All mentors and juniors will be paired and placed into tee times with the same playing partner each week. Enjoying a fun, low pressure round with their mentor/mentee!

What Kids and Teens can Play?

First Tee – South Puget Sound participants who are ready for more on-course play! Must be able to play nine holes, have confidence in their swing, and willingness to learn and grow with their mentor during the round.
