Financial Aid is available to all families who need assistance, simply follow these steps during the registration process:

1. Register your child(ren) for the desired class by adding the selection to your cart.
2. Proceed to checkout.
3. Continue the registration by completing information and answering questions. When you get to the Financial Aid page, please click that you would like to apply.
4. Answer the questions and click continue.
5. Proceed to checkout and click submit. Upon applying, your request will be reviewed by First Tee – South Puget Sound and a determination will be made.
6. Once approved, you will receive an email with directions to complete your registration. You will have 48 hours to complete your registration. Failure to complete your registration within the 48 hours will result in a cancellation.

Golf clubs will be provided for all participants, or they can bring their own if preferred.

If you cancel your registration prior to the end of the registration window, we can offer a refund to the original form of payment.

If you cancel your registration after the registration window has closed, we can offer a credit to your account which does not expire and can be used for any future First Tee – South Puget Sound session.

We understand schedules change and children are involved in many activities. If you would like to move your child(ren) to another class please contact [email protected] and we can see what availability there is.

Class will be cancelled for the following reasons and a First Tee – South Puget Sound team member will contact you directly, via email, to inform you of any cancellations. If you do not hear from a First Tee – South Puget Sound team member, class will continue as scheduled.

1. AQI over 151
2. Temperature of 100 Degrees or Higher
3. Extreme Weather (i.e. snow, lightning, etc.)

All information will be gathered by First Tee – South Puget Sound via the Apple Apps for consistency in each area served. Parents will by contacted via the email used at registration.

While we understand many children have had the opportunity to visit the golf course outside of First Tee programming, we cannot register any participants who do not meet the age requirements. In order to register for a class, the participant must turn that age prior to the end of the session.

Great question! If you have a teen, ages 14 and older, who has been with our program for at least two years we would love to encourage them to apply for our Teen Advisory Council.

Additionally, participants who have been with the program for a minimum of three years may be eligible to apply for First Tee National Opportunities. Contact the team at [email protected] to see if your participant is eligible.

Finally, any participants looking for community service hours or volunteer experience is welcome to complete our background check and safety training to get involved. Contact [email protected] for more information.

Each class session your child(ren) will learn about one or two of First Tee’s Nine Core Values. Their coach will seamlessly integrate that value into the golf lessons of the day and at the end of class will bridge the gap to life and how that value translates to home, school, and beyond.
