ACE Program Application
First Tee – South Puget Sound is excited to provide the opportunity of the ACE Program for participants between the ages of 13 and 18 years old. The goal of this program is to provide extended character development opportunities and playing experiences for our teen participants. This program helps guide teens with a game plan for what’s next with experiences that help them stand out on a résumé or application, and helps them stand prepared for whatever path they choose next. Throughout a series of four hands-on projects, participants are guided to explore who they are and what paths could be possible, create goals and an action plan, and build real-world assets to kickstart their next step.

Steps to Apply for ACE
There are a few steps required to apply for the ACE Program and all applicants must go through this process. If you have any questions regarding the ACE Program please contact Ben Talbot, Director of Participant Development, at [email protected].
- Step 1: USGA Rules Test
- Step 2: Wait for Ben Talbot to contact you with results from your test and next steps
- Step 3: Submit Two Essays (500 Words Max)
- Essay One: What does First Tee and golf mean to you?
- Essay Two: Select from one of the following prompts
- What is an obstacle you have overcome? What did you learn from that experience and how will you take that with you through life?
- What is a long term goal you have for yourself and what will you do to help achieve that goal?
- What achievements are you proud of and why?
- Why You?
